The Shimano Di2 EW-SD50 power cable is used with all second generation electronic road groupsets, i.e. from Ultegra 6770 onwards, as well as with electronic city and MTB groupsets. It is available in numerous lengths and is suitable for both external and internal installation. The cable cannot be used for the first Dura-Ace Di2 7970 because it is two-core and no longer four-core. Third-generation road shifters are also not compatible the thinner EW-SD300-I cable is required here.
